When you choose a licensed, quality child care centre, you are giving your child the great start they need to develop a strong and healthy mind, body and spirit as they prepare for the next stages of their lives.

Checklist for Choosing a Quality Child Care Centre
Is the centre licensed (regulated and inspected by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development 4-6 times yearly)?
✔ Is the environment clean and safe?
✔ What type of curriculum is followed?
✔ Does the centre have an open door policy?
✔ Is the atmosphere welcoming and child friendly?
✔ Do the children seem confident, happy and enthusiastic?
✔ Is there an appropriate educator to child ratio?
✔ Does the staff have Early Childhood Education training?
✔ Do they offer a mixture of physical and outdoor play for a minimum of 2 hours per day?
✔ Does the centre have an outdoor play area?
✔ Do activities offer a mix of free play and quiet time?
✔ Is there positive interaction between the educator and the child that is warm, caring and respectful?
✔ Do all educators have First Aid/CPR training and a criminal check?
